Since 1881, Morris Brown has been a 'haven for hungry souls', educating and supporting African-American students as Georgia's 1st Historically Black College/University (HBCU). And, despite facing adversity, Morris Brown has never closed its doors in over 140 years! Now, under new leadership, it's a fresh day for Morris Brown and, after almost 20 years, in April 2021, the College secured accreditation candidacy! This is unprecedented and historic. And it's only the beginning!
I joined the Morris Brown College Foundation Board of Directors to contribute my time and efforts to support the restoration of the College and to support the next generation of eager students and future leaders.
