Hi all,

We invite you to reflect on the historic progress and achievements made by Morris Brown College over the last year. Some of our highlights we would like to bring to your attention are:

• Raised $207,283.58 Founder's Day! This represents the largest Founder's Day giving in the past twenty years!
• Hilton and Morris Brown partner on $30 million hotel, training program (February 2021) Click for more information
• Completed accreditation application with Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) accepted (November)
• Raised almost $500,000 during virtual Homecoming (October)
  
• Named a new President, Dr. Kevin James, 19th President of Morris Brown College (May)
• Settled over $4MM in debt (January)

We’ve come a long way and there’s still more to do. The next milestone is Morris Brown’s candidacy for accreditation approval by TRACS, which is expected in the Spring of 2021. Once it happens, Morris Brown will be the only HBCU to emerge from an un-accredited status after almost 20 years! And it’s even more impressive when you consider that Morris Brown has continued its charge to educate students since founding in 1881, never closing its doors in over 140 years!
